Hello everyone! I’m happy to announce some exciting additions to v5.0! First, I would like to thank you all for using the app and for submitting feedback on your new ideas and bugs. I read every message that you guys send to me and appreciate you taking the time to help me make the app as great as possible.
The app now supports syncing of your progress, purchase items, and settings on the cloud so that you can pick up where you left off on other devices or when switching from the free to full versions. Why is this important? One reason is that I’m working to merge the free and full versions into one app. This will make it easier to transition from free to full. The other is that it will allow syncing of your progress when the Windows 8 version comes out.
What this means is that I will eventually discontinue the Free version as a separate version and provide an in app link to the merged version of the app. If you’ve signed in to the Free version, you won’t have to worry about losing anything when you migrate. This will also mean that you won’t have to re-buy the Windows 8 version. While I’m sure a lot of other developers would use this as a good excuse to charge extra money, I don’t want to do that. Instead, consider this to be my thank you for all of your support.
To use syncing, you need to sign in. This can be done either on the settings page or via the button on the main page right under the settings button. If you don’t see the button, it means that you’re already signed in.
I’ve also streamlined the in app purchases and made some other bug fixes / improvements.
Now for the not-so-good news
The not-so-good news is actually pretty good news (for me). I was working as a pilot for my dad and programming in my spare time. Well, this led me to get a job as a programmer and I’ve been in training every day, meaning that I haven’t been able to sit down for days straight programming. However, this does not mean that I intend to stop supporting the app; it just may be a bit slower than before.
The good news is that I’m pretty close to finishing the Windows 8 version. Right now, it’s at about a 3 star level and I want to bring it up to a 5 star app. I think that you guys are going to like some of the new features .
